TRAFFIC ALERT: Continued lane closures for the Rancho Santa Fe Pavement Restoration Project

Work continues for the Rancho Santa Fe Pavement Restoration Project:

Date: Monday-Friday

Time: 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Location: Rancho Santa Fe Road between Melrose Drive and Lake Ridge Drive

Closures and impacts: Lane closures and modified traffic patterns on northbound and southbound Rancho Santa Fe Road. A closure will occur on Boulderidge Drive and access will be maintained for residents only.

Anticipated Nov. schedule of work (pending weather conditions):

  • Starting on Nov. 6 to the week of Nov. 11: Cold in-place recycling (CIR)
  • Week of Nov. 18: Roadway paving
  • Week of Nov. 24: Anticipated night work from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. to pave the intersection of Melrose Drive and Rancho Sante Fe Road

Roadway conditions will be temporarily uneven during the CIR work. The CIR surface may feel rough while driving, however this will not be the final driving surface. Once CIR work is complete, crews will pave the roadway with the finished driving surface. Two-way traffic will be maintained, and flaggers will be directing drivers; however, delays are anticipated so alternate routes are highly encouraged.
