The Arrupe Center for Community Service and Social Responsibility is celebrating one year since its signage went up on the first floor of the Alumni Memorial Union.

The new center brings together several student-focused community engagement efforts in the Division of Belonging and Student Affairs and builds capacity for new initiatives and partnerships in the future. The Arrupe Center houses the Burke Scholars, AmeriCorps 414 Fellows, Backpack, Neighborhood Kitchen, Narrative4, Salud Social, Make a Difference Day, Marquette Community Day of Service and many other initiatives.

This year the Arrupe Center engaged 1,038 Marquette students who served over 17,700 hours of community service in Milwaukee. Review the center's 2023-24 Annual Report for highlights of key programs, an assessment of the center's impact and an invitation to join the center in cultivating a commitment to service and civic responsibility in our students.
