Film & Media Studies to host showing of 'Missing From The Fire Trail Road' Nov. 14

At 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, the English Department's Film & Media Studies unit is hosting a screening of Missing from Fire Trail Road in Fraser 201.

This event is free and open to the public, and is being shown this month in recognition and support of Native American Heritage Month.

This documentary explores the story of Mary Ellen Johnson Davis and her disappearance from the Tulalip Reservation, highlighting the issue of missing and murdered women in our local indigenous communities. Director Sabrina Van Tassel will be in attendance, and if time permits, there may be an opportunity for a Q&A session afterwards.
