ITS Repair Planned Next Week on I-95 South in Northeast Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) repairs are planned next week on southbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT installs and maintains ITS equipment on all regional highways to help manage traffic flow from the Regional Traffic Management Center in King of Prussia.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
