Stanislaus County

Closures on State Routes 99, 132, 108, And Interstate 5

Stanislaus County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

Full, long-term closures of the vending machine buildings at the northbound and southbound Enoch Christofferson Rest Areas for renovations. The project is expected to last through the fall of 2024.

Moving closures of the #1 (left) and #3 (right) lanes of northbound and southbound SR-99 between the Merced County line and the San Joaquin County line for sweeping operations beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 108

Overnight, one-way traffic control between Mesa Drive and Topeka Street in Riverbank for utility work beginning Wednesday, September 4, through Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Overnight Closure of the #1 (left) lane of eastbound SR-108 between Oak Avenue and School Street in Oakdale for utility work beginning Thursday, September 5, through Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 132

Lane shifts between Reinway Avenue and F Street/Hickman Road and traffic controls at the intersections of Western Avenue and F Street/Hickman Road in Waterford for construction work beginning Tuesday, September 3 through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Note: Construction is expected to continue through the fall of 2024.

Interstate 5

Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 for construction work. Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
