Whistalks Way Traffic Impacts Begin Sept. 30th

Plan for slowdowns during daytime hours.

Drivers in northwest Spokane will experience traffic impacts on Whistalks Way starting Monday, Sept. 30. Please slow down for everyone's safety. Current obstruction information is available on the City's construction webpage.

Whistalks Way Street Maintenance Work

City of Spokane Streets Department will be doing street maintenance and improvement work on Whistalks Way between the TJ Meenach Bridge and Government Way beginning Monday, morning, Sept. 30. The work is expected to last approximately two weeks.

What to Expect:

  • Whistalks Way reduced to one lane in each direction between TJ Meenach Bridge and Government Way.
  • Monday through Friday during daytime hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Expect congestion around Spokane Falls Community College.

Lanes reductions will change frequently throughout the work. Drivers should slow down and be alert.
