TSTC’s student-operated restaurant to open Oct. 16

(WACO, Texas) - Texas State Technical College's Culinary Arts program in Waco opens its student-operated restaurant for the fall semester on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The restaurant is at the Greta W. Watson Culinary Arts Center on Campus Drive. The restaurant is open to the public, but reservations are required. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays and Fridays during the semester.

The serving days and themes, which are subject to change, are:

- Oct. 16 and Oct. 18: Tex-Mex

- Oct. 23 and Oct. 25: Puerto Rican

- Oct. 30 and Nov. 1: Irish

- Nov. 13 and Nov. 15: Thai

- Nov. 20 and Nov. 22: Peru

Weekly menus will be posted on the TSTC in Waco Facebook page and online at tstc.edu/culinary-arts-menu.

Reservations can only be made two weeks in advance. No same-day reservations will be taken on serving days. Reservations can be made by emailing [email protected].
