This is your USD News Minute.

The University of San Diego is ranked 47 in the nation according to The Wall Street Journal-College Pulse ranking of the best 500 universities in the U.S. The ranking looks at the value the schools provide to their students based on the learning environment, years to pay off the net price, degree completion rates, the likelihood of higher salaries post-graduation, and diversity.

This week, USD celebrates a remarkable milestone: 50 years since the first classes began at the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science. What started with just a small cohort of 14 graduates has flourished into a thriving institution, now enrolling over 450 students across various advanced graduate and doctoral programs.

Wednesday, there will be a special ceremony to honor those who lost their lives in the September 11th attacks. There will be a presentation by ROTC students, followed by an interfaith prayer. That's Wednesday morning at 8 in the KIPJ Theatre.

As always, thank you for watching, we'll see you next week.
