Good afternoon. Let me start today's briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yul will deliver a lecture at the 188th luncheon lecture for CEOs of middle market enterprises hosted by the Federation of Middle Market Enterprises of Korea on Wednesday, October 16.

Minister Cho will give a lecture on Korea's foreign policy, including measures to support middle market enterprises in increasing their presence in the global market.

Additionally, on the occasion of the event, he will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Middle Market Enterprises of Korea to strengthen support for Korean companies operating abroad.

Next, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Hong Kyun, together with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kurt M. Campbell and Japanese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Okano Masataka, will hold the 14th ROK-U.S.-Japan Trilateral Vice Foreign Ministerial Meeting on Wednesday, October 16.

In the upcoming meeting, which will be held five months after the meeting in May, the three sides will have in-depth discussions on how the three countries can work together on the Korean Peninsula issue as well as regional and global issues and discuss ways to further advance trilateral cooperation among the ROK, the U.S. and Japan.

In addition, Vice Minister Kim will hold the ROK-U.S. vice ministerial meeting on October 16 and the ROK-Japan vice ministerial meeting on October 17.
