Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Daihatsu") and SPK Corporation (hereinafter "SPK") are pleased to announce that the jointly operated racing team, "D-SPORT Racing Team", will participate in the 2024 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) Round 13, Rally Japan. The team aims to achieve a third consecutive class victory, taking place from Thursday, November 21 to Sunday, November 24, with the DAIHATSU COPEN GR SPORT.

Aligned with the mission to "create ever-better cars through motorsports" and the principles of "MONODUKURI (craftmanship) and KOTODUKURI (creating experience)", D-SPORT Racing Team challenges with a vehicle crafted for the joy of driving, while also focusing on talent development through this endeavor.

The service park will feature the "HIJET TRUCK JUMBO EXTEND," a race support vehicle with an extendable cargo bed.

Through this participation, valuable insights gained will be applied across both companies, conveying appreciation to all those who love cars and sharing the excitement of driving. D-SPORT Racing Team will continue to take on new challenges moving forward.
