Today the Superior Court judges of the Northeastern Judicial Circuit announced their selection of Amanda L. Dean as the new Juvenile Court Judge for Hall and Dawson counties.

"We believe she steps into the role ready to serve on Day One, and we're very grateful to have her back in the circuit," stated Chief Superior Court Judge Jason J. Deal. '·She has both the heart and the experience to ably serve as a Juvenile Court Judge."

Ms. Dean is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and resides in South Hall County with her husband and two sons. Her appointment will begin on July 29, 2024.

Juvenile Court judges are appointed to the bench by the Superior Court judges of the circuit. Ms. Dean will be joining Chief Juvenile Court Judge Alison Toller, Juvenile Court Judge Joe Diaz, and Juvenile Court Judge Amber Sowers.
