Students in Stevenson University's Future Real Estate Leaders (FREAL) and Financial Management Association (FMA) clubs recently toured the Anthem House mixed-used development in Baltimore. Located in the Locust Point neighborhood, Anthem House is a luxury apartment community that also includes retail and commercial spaces.
During the tour, students gained a deeper understanding of managing large-scale commercial properties, said Luis Lopez, a senior Business Administration major and president of the FREAL club.
"We learned about leasing strategies, tenant relations, property maintenance, financial analysis, and risk management," Luis said. "Anthem House is managed by the Bozzuto Group, one of the leading real estate companies in the region, and their innovative approach to property management was highlighted during the tour. The FREAL and FMA Clubs are grateful to Bozzuto Group for their hospitality and for providing us with such a valuable learning experience."
