Today, GOP vice-presidential nominee, JD Vance, told reporters RFK Jr. should drop out and endorse Trump because "he's much closer on the issues to President Trump than he is to Kamala Harris." This is just another example of the Trump camp asking RFK Jr. to be their useful idiot. Yesterday, the Washington Post reported that RFK Jr. and Donald Trump are still in conversation about exchanging a cabinet- level position in the Trump administration for RFK Jr.'s endorsement.

In response, DNC Spokesperson Matt Corridoni released the following statement:

"We agree with JD Vance: RFK Jr. is much closer on the issues to Donald Trump. That's why he's funded by Trump's biggest donor and why he parrots Trump's talking points. He has no path to victory for himself, he's only in this race to help elect Donald Trump."
