WATER USE RESTRICTIONS

Attention Aberdeen Residents:

The City of Aberdeen Public Works Department would like to inform all residents of the following important updates and reminders:

Stage One Water Use Restrictions:

• Water restrictions will be temporarily in place starting immediately.
• Please limit water use to essential needs.
• Affected areas includes the City of Aberdeen

Stage I Regulations:

Upon the declaration of Stage I water restrictions:

Irrigation:

• Irrigation may occur only on alternate days.
• Properties with even-numbered addresses shall be allowed to irrigate on even-numbered calendar days.
• Properties with odd-numbered addresses shall be allowed to irrigate on odd-numbered calendar days.
• No person may irrigate on the 31st day of any month.

Washing of Vehicles:

• Washing of vehicles may only occur on days when irrigation is allowed.
• No person may wash a vehicle between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• No person shall wash a vehicle with a hose unless the hose has a nozzle or similar device which stops the flow of water when not in use.
• This subsection shall not apply to commercial carwashes.

Washing of Surfaces:

• No person may wash driveways, sidewalks, buildings, or other surfaces between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
