Graham: The Nightmare of the Biden Border Crisis is Coming to a Close

Graham: How do you deal with mass illegal immigration? Mass deportations.

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today at a hearing led by committee Democrats on President Donald Trump's promise of mass deportations of illegal immigrants, condemned the Biden Administration's failure to secure our southern border - referring to it as mass illegal immigration.

The average annual deportations during the Obama and Trump Administrations remained relatively stable, at 263,870 and 233,838 respectively. However, during the Biden Administration, the number dropped sharply to 131,815 deportations on average per year.

  • GRAHAM: "If you are here illegally, get ready to leave. If you're a criminal, we're coming after you first. If you have been paroled [into the country] illegally, we're not going to give you the roots to attach yourself to our country because you should not have been here in the first place." https://youtu.be/SSojUuDt0lg?si=AnOSgL8vHwdVIpSN&t=244

Graham, who is the incoming Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, said the top priority of the Republican-led Senate in 2025 will be to pass a border security bill through the budget reconciliation process.

  • GRAHAM: "Most Americans… feel like the Biden Administration was criminally negligent… by having a broken border and allowing drugs to pour into our country to kill tens of thousands of young people, [and allowing] people to come in our country who are convicted felons to do damage to families [that] we'll hear from today. That nightmare is coming to a close. In January of 2025, the Republican Senate will make its top priority a transformational border security bill that will be taken up and passed..." https://youtu.be/SSojUuDt0lg?si=NtRUpLfFHFVv6ucj&t=19
