Paris and the Olympic Games welcome Messi, Maradona and Kempes to “The Olympus of G10DS”

During the Paris 2024 Olympics, the Argentine Foreign Ministry organized an exhibition titled "The Olympus of G10DS", together with the company Guardians of the Ball (GOB).

This exhibition, combining art, technology and sports, opened on 23 July at the Argentine Embassy in France and features works by Argentine artists Agostina Mauro, Claudia Pérez, Dibujuani, and Alex Ojagnan, all of them members of GOB's virtual art district who pay tribute to the three most glorious football players ever to wear the No. 10 jersey: Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona and Mario Kempes. Each piece is a tribute that captures the essence of these sports heroes who led Argentina to World Cup glory in 1978, 1986 and 2022 and who are venerated as omnipresent gods.

"The Olympus of G10DS" mixes traditional art with virtual reality, as it allows the audience to see the actual works, as well as to immerse themselves in virtual reality to admire the pieces in giant size and visit the "Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades" in the province of Santiago del Estero.

The event was attended by renowned companies and institutions, including Volkswagen, Emotors, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Business Engineers Asia and Art for Good, as well as famous plastic artists, such as José Cúneo, and representatives from various countries in the world. On 1 August, visitors also had the chance to attend a talk by GOB on immersive realities and how they impact the way we consume and relate to art and sports, especially football.

"The Olympus of G10DS" will remain open until 9 August, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., by appointment.

This initiative is part of a strategy designed by the Foreign Ministry to promote the internationalization of Argentine companies and the exportable supply of goods and services that combine creativity, innovation and technology.
