2025 Calgary Stampede Rodeo & Evening Show Tickets On Sale Now Following Standout Performance by Stampede Bucking Stock at the Canadian Finals Rodeo

The 2025 Calgary Stampede Rodeo and Evening Show promise to be heart-pounding, crowd-roaring, can't-miss events during The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth! Tickets for these iconic experiences, taking place from July 4-13, 2025, are on sale now!

"After a record-breaking year welcoming nearly 1.5 million guests to the 2024 Stampede, we're excited for fans to witness the top-tier entertainment and energy the performers, contestants and animal athletes will bring to the Rodeo and Evening Show at Stampede 2025 in July," says Meghan Kivisto, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Programming at the Calgary Stampede. "It's going to be another unforgettable year, and we can't wait for everyone to experience it."

Whether you're a seasoned Stampede fan or it's your first rodeo, guests are invited to experience the action-packed Calgary Stampede Rodeo, featuring the world's best competitors and animal athletes. Every afternoon cowboys and cowgirls face off in a variety of events like bull riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, saddle bronc and bareback riding, showcasing incredible skill, grit and bravery.

Then at night, get ready for a unique entertainment doubleheader-the nightly Calgary Stampede Evening Show. Feel the thundering of hooves and trembling of the ground at the Cowboys Rangeland Derby chuckwagon races, followed by the fan-favourite Relay Races, when the best Indigenous Relay Racing teams take their athleticism and horsemanship skills to the track. To conclude the evening, the Grandstand Show dazzles audiences with acrobatics, elaborate song and dance numbers, and a spectacular fireworks finale in the night sky!

Today's launch of tickets for the 2025 Stampede Rodeo and Evening Show follows an outstanding showing by Stampede's bucking stock at the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) in Edmonton this past weekend. Many of the same top rodeo contestants and animal athletes will compete on home soil in Calgary next July at the World's Largest Outdoor Rodeo.

"We're incredibly proud of how our stock performed and the impact they had at CFR, and we're excited to bring that same level of energy and athleticism back to Stampede next year," says Tyler Kraft, Manager of the Calgary Stampede Ranch. "It's always exciting to see our animal athletes rise to the challenge on a big stage. Agent Lynx and Tokyo Bubbles demonstrated why they're among the best in the industry, but we also showcased 11 first-time qualifying animals at CFR, which is a really neat stat for us."

As the presenting sponsor of Bareback Riding at this year's CFR, the Stampede celebrated A-91 Agent Lynx being named the Bareback Horse of the Year, and the 17-year-old T-77 Tokyo Bubbles being honoured as the Saddle Bronc Horse of the Year-a testament to the care and dedication of the Calgary Stampede Ranch team. While both horses delivered standout performances at the CFR, Zeke Thurston earned the highest score of all five rounds of the Saddle Bronc event aboard Tokyo Bubbles, helping him become the first saddle bronc rider in Canadian rodeo history to win five consecutive Canadian saddle bronc champion titles.

As a stock contractor, the Stampede supplied a remarkable 42 of its horses at this year's CFR-making up nearly a third of the bareback stock and more than half of the saddle bronc stock, reflecting the strength and reputation of the Stampede's Born to Buckā„¢ breeding program. Beyond horses, four of the Stampede's bulls were also selected to perform at CFR, including Smart As A Rock, Minor Detail, Money Moves and Foo Fighter.

With the conclusion of CFR 2024, all eyes now turn to the 2025 Calgary Stampede, which promises to be a must-see, bucket-list experience.
