Closure of S. Howard Ave. between W. Platt St and W. Kennedy Blvd to begin on June 27, 2024, for Road Construction

S. Howard Ave. between W. Platt St and W. Kennedy Blvd. will be closed from 6 am to 2pm on Thursday June 27, 2024, for roadway resurfacing. The City of Tampa's Mobility Operations Division will be resurfacing the roadway on N. Howard Ave. between W. Platt St. and W. Kennedy Blvd.

The sidewalks in the work areas will be open during construction.

All lanes on S. Howard Ave. between W. Platt St. and W. Kennedy Blvd. will reopen to traffic by 3 pm daily.

The City of Tampa recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
