ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
FOR THE WEEK OF July 22 THROUGH July 28, 2024

Please slow down in construction zones and expect delays.

1. 55th Street West from Las Brisas Terrace to Avenida Entrada
   Intermittent shoulder closure of the No. 1 northbound lane on 55th Street West between Las Brisas Terrace and Avenida Estrada for landscape maintenance district tree trimming.
2. Las Brisas Terrace from 55th Street West to Los Amores Court
   Intermittent shoulder closure of the No. 1 eastbound lane on Las Brisas Terrace between 55th Street West and Los Amores Court for landscape maintenance district tree trimming.
3. Avenue 0-8 from Rancho Vista Boulevard to 30th Street West
   Intermittent lane closure of the No. 2 eastbound lane on Avenue 0-8 between Rancho Vista Blvd and 30th Street West for landscape maintenance district tree trimming.
4. Rancho Vista Boulevard from Seville Ave to 15th St West
   Intermittent lane closure of the No. 2 and No. 3 eastbound and westbound lanes on Rancho Vista Blvd between Seville Ave and 15th St West for sewer improvements.
5. Rancho Vista Boulevard from 30th Street West to Dunbar Street
   Intermittent lane closure of two eastbound lanes on Rancho Vista Blvd from 30th St W to Dunbar Street for sewer maintenance. Please slow down and expect delays.
6. Marie Kerr Park
   Intermittent walking path, parking stall and parking lot closure at Marie Kerr Park for parks soccer field renovations.
7. Highland Street (25th Street West) from Avenue P-12 to Layla Lane
   Intermittent lane closure of the No. 2 northbound lane on 25th Street West between Avenue P-12 and Layla Lane for graffiti abatement.
8. Rancho Vista Boulevard from Dunbar St to 30th St West
   Intermittent lane closer of the No. 1 West bound lane on Rancho Vista Blvd between Dunbar St and 30th St West for general benefits tree trimming.
9. Rancho Vista Boulevard from 10th Street West to Armfield Avenue
   Intermittent lane closure of the two westbound lanes on Rancho Vista Blvd between Armfield Avenue and 10th Street West for traffic signal installation with mast arm Installation Temporary full closure at 30 minutes max.
10. Rancho Vista Boulevard from Armfield Avenue to 10th Street West
    Intermittent lane closure of the two eastbound lanes on Rancho Vista Blvd between Armfield Avenue and 10th Street West for traffic signal Installation with mast arm Installation Temporary full closure at 30 minutes max.
11. 10th St West from 14 Freeway to Rancho Vista Boulevard
    Intermittent lane closer of the No. 3 southbound lane on 10th St West between 14 Freeway and Rancho Vista Blvd for LMD 152 tree trimming.
12. Division Street from Avenue O to Fantasy Street
    Intermittent shoulder closure southbound on Division Street between Avenue O and Fantasy Street for landscape assessment district tree trimming.
13. Challenger Way from Avenue M (Columbia Way) to Avenue L
    Intermittent street and lane closures on Challenger Way for road work.
14. Avenue N from 40th Street East to 45th Street East
    Road resurfacing and maintenance. To be completed August 5, 2024.
15. 40th Street East from Avenue N to Avenue N-8
    Road resurfacing and maintenance. To be completed August 5, 2024.
16. Palmdale Transportation Center
    Intermittent parking lot, parking space and walking path closure at Palmdale Transportation Center for transit planter renovations.
17. Rayburn Road and East Avenue R from Tierra Subida Avenue to Sierra Highway
    Road resurfacing and maintenance. Construction will take place from July 18 to September 17, 2024.
18. Avenue R at Division Street
    Various lane closures at the intersection for utility installations. Please pay attention to the temporary traffic control, slow down for the work zone and expect delays.
19. Avenue Q-12 from 10th Street East to 12th Street East
    Sidewalk installation and repairs along Avenue Q-12.
20. FULL CLOSURE - 10th Street East from Palmdale Boulevard to Avenue R
    Full closure on 10th Street East. Detours will be in place over to 11th Street East from both Avenue R and Palmdale Boulevard.
21. 12th Street East at Avenue Q-10
    Lane closures and flagged traffic for Palmdale Water District water line project.
22. 17th Street East from Palmdale Boulevard to 500' north of Palmdale Boulevard
    Lane closure on 17th Street East for water service installation.
23. Avenue R from Sierra Highway to 25th Street East
    Intermittent lane closures on both sides of Avenue R for power pole removals by AT&T and Charter Communications.
24. 35th Street East from Avenue R to Avenue S
    Road resurfacing and maintenance. To be completed August 21, 2024.
25. East Avenue R-8 from 37th Street East to 40th Street East
    Intermittent shoulder closure of the No. 1 eastbound lane on East Avenue R-8 between 37th Street East and 40th Street East for landscape maintenance district tree trimming.
26. Avenue S from 47th Street East to 42nd Street East
    Intermittent lane closure of the No. 2 westbound lane on Avenue S between 47th Street East and 42nd Street East for graffiti abatement.
27. Avenue S from 47th Street East to 42nd Steet East
    Intermittent lane closure of the No. 3 westbound lane on Avenue S between 47th Street East and 42nd Street East for graffiti abatement. Please slow down for the work zone and expect delays.
28. FULL CLOSURE - East Avenue S-8 from 40th Street East to Serendipity Way
    Full closure on Avenue S-8 between 40th St East and Serendipity Way for construction of Phase 1 of the new roundabout project at Avenue S & 40th St East. Detour signs are in place. Drivers are advised to use Avenue S and 45th St East or Pearblossom Hwy.

    Intermittent walking path, parking stall and parking lot closure at Domenic Massari Park for soccer field renovation.

31. Evergem Avenue from Simi Street to 65th Street East
    Intermittent shoulder closure of the No. 1 westbound lane on Evergem Avenue between Simi Street and 65th Street East for landscape maintenance district tree trimming.
