ARLINGTON, Va. - The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will host a Relinquishment of Responsibility ceremony for the 29th Chief of the National Guard Bureau, Army Gen. Daniel R. Hokanson, at 10 a.m., Friday, August 2, on Summerall Field, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Arlington, Va.

MEDIA CREDENTIALING: Media representatives are invited to cover this event but must coordinate attendance by submitting FULL NAME, AFFILIATE, EMAIL, and PHONE NUMBER by email at ng.ncr.ngb-arng.mbx.ngb-press-[email protected] no later than noon Thursday, August 1, so names can be submitted to installation security in advance. An email will be sent as confirmation. Confirmed media must arrive at the Hatfield Gate in Arlington, located on the Myer Campus at the intersection of 2nd Street South at Route 27 (Washington Boulevard), no later than 9:15 a.m. August 2 for media escort. You must have one form of authorized, valid photo identification such as a Pentagon press credential, state identification card, drivers license, passport, non-DoD common access card, or green card. All documents must be original - no copies or digital versions.

NOTE: For security reasons, we will not be able to admit members of the media who arrive after 9:15 a.m. or who do not have a valid, government-issued ID. The ceremony will be livestreamed at https://www.dvidshub.net/webcast/34140.
