NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

LAS 29797

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the Lower Kuskokwim School District, P.O. Box 305, Bethel, Alaska 99559-0305 applied for a permit to appropriate water on June 30^th, 2014. The application proposes the following:

The withdrawal of water, up to 4,500 gallons per day year-round each year for a school from a drilled well located within a parcel of land located entirely within Lot 2 of U.S. survey NO. 4054, further located within the NE1/4 NE1/4 of Section 28, Township 6 North, Range 91 West, Seward meridian, Alaska, being particularly described as:

Commencing at the east corner of Lot 3 of U.S. Survey NO. 4054, the point of beginning; Thence N. 53°14' W., 118.70 feet, more or less; thence N. 31°46' E., 482.46 feet more or less, to a point on the common boundary of Lots 1 and 2 of U.S. Survey NO. 4054; thence S. 53°14' E., on a portion of the common boundary between Lots 1 and 2 of U.S. Survey NO. 4054 for a distance of 374 feet; thence S. 31°46' W., 285 feet; thence S. 85°12' W., 308.84 feet, more or less to the East corner of Lot 3 of U.S. Survey NO. 4054, the point of beginning. Containing 3.55 acres.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on December 30^th, 2024. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
