Fort Pierce Commission Curtis Johnson, Jr. Chosen for Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 42

The City of Fort Pierce proudly announces that Commissioner Curtis Johnson, Jr. has been selected to participate in the prestigious Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 42. Representing the Gulfstream Region, Commissioner Johnson will join five other distinguished leaders from the area in this esteemed program.

Commissioner Johnson is among 55 leaders chosen for this stimulating and thought-provoking nine-month educational program. Participants will engage in a series of two and three-day sessions held in cities across Florida. These sessions will cover critical state issues, refine leadership skills through expert-led sessions, and provide valuable insights into Florida's history, demography, diversity, challenges, and opportunities.

Commissioner Johnson expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I am honored to be selected for this tremendous opportunity and to represent the beautiful City of Fort Pierce. This program positions our city in the room as these leaders work to shape our area and the State of Florida."

For the past 42 years, Leadership Florida has engaged more than 3,500 leaders through a competitive application process. These leaders, who represent all sectors of Florida's economy and reflect the state's diverse demographics, participate in experiential classes to renew their leadership skills and expand their networks. The ultimate goal is to address key issues facing Florida.
