Designate your course as Community Engaged

Help the Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) capture and communicate your Community Engaged (CE) and Service Learning (SL) classes! Designating your courses is critical as UAA applies for the Carnegie re-classification for Community Engagement this coming academic year.

A Community Engaged (CE) course involves the student(s) in some kind of work outside of the classroom that contributes to the public good. A Service Learning (SL) course is a Community Engaged course which integrates the service learning more deeply and more intentionally. Please reach out to your department scheduler to designate your Fall 2024 courses through the CLSS online scheduling system.
