DALLAS - With the new school year underway, Dallas ISD is seeing record enrollment. As of last week, the district enrolled 139,138 students. This is a jump of nearly 2,800 students compared to the same time last year and over 1,500 more than anticipated for the current year.

District seeks community input to celebrate Hispanic heritage
September is Hispanic Heritage Month, and Dallas ISD is proudly celebrating the influence of Hispanic culture with this year's theme, "Moving to the Rhythm of Progress." To highlight the vibrant voices that enrich our schools and communities, Dallas ISD invites students, staff, and community members to share stories of cultural pride, achievements, and contributions.
