Highlights & Hoorays for Sept. 11

The Small Business Association New Mexico District Office will begin the fall cohort for the Ascent Training Program Oct. 3-Nov. 7, 2024, to help women-owned business owners start and grow their small businesses.

The Ascent Training Program a FREE program that combines six weeks of online self-guided learning using the SBA Ascent platform, as well as six group virtual sessions. During the virtual sessions, participants will learn more about business-related topics.

Participants will network and grow with other women entrepreneurs from New Mexico as they are taught each week by subject matter experts in leadership, marketing, finance, HR, capital access, and contracting.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must:

• Be a women-owned small business located in New Mexico

• Be a start-up or have been in business less than five years

• Have average revenues of less than $50,000

Interested participants can learn more about this program by attending one of the five upcoming virtual information sessions.
