Public Notice: Upcoming Stakeholder Outreach Regarding Commercial Oilfield Waste Disposal Facilities Rulemaking

The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Water Quality Division (WDEQ/WQD is initiating an outreach comment period related to the possible revision of Water Quality Rules Chapter 28, Standards for Issuing Permits for Commercial Oilfield Waste Disposal Facilities that will be applicable to Commercial Oilfield Waste Disposal Facilities (COWDFs).

Written and electronic comments on the topics WDEQ/WQD is considering, as well as feedback on any other aspects of WDEQ/WQD regulations relating to COWDFs, may be submitted beginning November 1, 2024 and ending at 5:00 p.m. (MST) on December 2, 2024. Written comments may be directed to Keenan Hendon, 200 West 17th Street, Suite 200, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82002; or faxed to 307-635-1784. Electronic comments may be submitted online at http://wq.wyomingdeq.commentinput.com/.
