Highway Lane Closures
State Routes 4 & 49

CALAVERAS COUNTY - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) and SR-49 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 4

Intermittent traffic breaks from Bonanza Mine Road to Appaloosa Road for construction beginning Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control from Red Hill Road to Live Oak Drive for pavement work beginning Monday, September 16, through Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

State Route 26

One-way traffic control from Copello Drive to the Passing Lane for tree work beginning Monday, September 16, thought Friday, September 20, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

One-way traffic control from Carol Kennedy Road to Managers Way for tree work beginning Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

One-way traffic control from the George Reed Company to the Mokelumne River for tree work beginning Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 20, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

One-way traffic control from Raspberry Lane for sign/banner work on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

All work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
