NOTICE OF WATER RIGHTAMENDMENT

ADL 212698

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the University of Alaska Anchorage, 1815 Bragaw Street, Suite 101, Anchorage, Alaska 99508 requested to amend a water right Certificate originally applied for on January 15^th, 1982 (Priority Date). The application proposes the following:

The withdrawal of up to 148.8 acre-feet/year from May 1^st through September 30^th each year from a new drilled well 235 feet in depth, located within the Northeast one-quarter of the Northeast one-quarter (NE1/4NE1/4), section 28, township 13 North, Range 3 West, Seward Meridian, Anchorage Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.

The proposed purpose of use is a water supply for cooling of the Fine Arts and Administration buildings.

The proposed place of use is the Fine Arts and Administration buildings. Said properties being located within Section (Sec.) 28, Township (T.) 13 North, Range (R.) 3 West, Seward Meridian.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on August 9^th, 2024. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
