Missing boy located - Cabramatta

A boy missing from Sydney's south west has been located safe and well.

The 10-year-old boy was last seen in Cabramatta about 3pm today (Friday 23 August 2024) with an updated sighting at Fairfield shortly afterwards.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Fairfield Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Following inquiries and a public appeal for information, the boy was located safe and well at 6.40pm.

Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
