Nareit Announces Recipients of Diversity Impact Awards

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Sept. 11, 2024) - Nareit presented the sixth annual Diversity Impact Awards at REITworks: 2024 Sustainability & Social Responsibility Conference in McLean, VA. These awards recognize Nareit member companies that are implementing, measuring, and expanding impactful policies and practices that create opportunities for all employees and business partners within their companies and supply chains.

The 2024 Diversity Impact Award recipients are:

• Large Cap: Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (Nasdaq: HST)
• Mid Cap: Veris Residential, Inc. (NYSE: VRE)
• Small Cap: Chatham Lodging Trust (NYSE: CLDT)
• Honorable Mention:Sun Communities, Inc. (NYSE: SUI)

The winners of Nareit's Diversity Impact Awards are selected in an anonymized evaluation by a panel of expert judges who work outside the REIT industry. The 2024 judges reviewed and evaluated applications from companies based on their social responsibility programs, recent accomplishments, reporting metrics, and other factors. This year's panel of judges included:
