Q: Where are you from? Where is your Casey's store located? What's your hometown?

A: I'm from Sauk Rapids, MN, which is where my home store is located. I am the district manager for St. Cloud, MN.

Q: How long have you worked for Casey's and in what roles?

A: I've worked at Casey's for five years, and have built an exciting career starting from my first job in a store. I quickly advanced to kitchen manager, then store manager and now I'm a district manager.

Q: What got you thinking about making this type of pizza? Inspiration?

A: It started with finding the perfect recipe for Casey's annual pizza competition across four divisions. Our region got involved giving feedback, ideas across the team and stores. Eventually we landed on pickle pizza as the crowd favorite.

Q: How would you describe this pizza to our guests?

A: If you're from the Midwest you're familiar with a ham and pickle roll. I took the staple Midwest appetizer, often seen at tailgates and potlucks, then turned it into toppings on a pizza for our guests to enjoy.

Q: What do you think people will love about this pizza?

A: The Pickle Wrap Pizza is based on the fan-favorite appetizer of ham with cream cheese rolled around a pickle, but with a Casey's twist of bacon on top, because everything is better with a little bacon. Ultimately the dill pickle shines through to be the star of the show.

A huge group of people will want to try it because of the inspired by pickle roll up; others might be more interested, or curious.

"I'd say 'you're not ready for it' and it will break people out of their comfort zones to something unexpected and delicious."

Q: What makes you proud to work at Casey's?

A: What makes me proud of working for Casey's is the amount of recognition given and shared across the company. I receive a lot of recognition and appreciation, I give that to others, and I see others showing the same appreciation, respect, and support for each other as a team.

Q: What is your favorite Casey's pizza?

A: Classic pepperoni jazzed up with some black olives; I am always up to try new things though! Check out our pepperoni pizza.

Q: What pizza trends are you watching next?

A: I've got to keep some tricks up my sleeve for future pizza competitions!
