OABA to Recognize Agribusiness Employees for Professionalism, Stewardship, Excellence

The Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) is set to honor outstanding leaders in the agribusiness industry through its OABA Industry Excellence Awards.

With a long-standing commitment to recognizing and supporting the achievements of its members and their employees, OABA's Industry Excellence Awards highlight the stories of professionalism, stewardship and excellence within the agribusiness sector.

"The agribusiness sector thrives because of the exceptional individuals dedicated to excellence in customer service, safety, and stewardship," said Melinda Witten, president and CEO of OABA. "By recognizing and celebrating these outstanding leaders, we inspire higher standards and greater achievements across the entire industry."

OABA member company employees can now be nominated for three distinct award categories: Achievement as an Emerging Leader, Excellence in Customer Service and Excellence in Safety & Stewardship. Nominations, which must be submitted by August 9, 2024, are open to any industry professional, provided the nominee is employed by an OABA member company.

Award recipients will be celebrated at the 2025 OABA Industry Conference on January 29. Awardees will receive complimentary registration and lodging for the conference, recognition in industry publications and a $1,000 cash award, generously sponsored by Assured Partners - ABIS/J.H.
