Joe Biden called Trump supporters "garbage." Then he ordered White House staff to edit his official transcript of the remark, enraging official White House stenographers.

Yet extreme House Democrats don't see any reason to condemn this degradation of norms, because they agree that Trump supporters are "garbage."
