Update #2: Lane Closures on North Florida Avenue between East Keyes Avenue and East Gladys Avenue

Due to delays, the two outside northbound lanes on North Florida Avenue between East Keyes Avenue and East Gladys Avenue will now be closed starting at 9am today. That is when the Tampa Water Department will return to complete a more permanent restoration following earlier work to repair a water main break. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.

The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is now expected by 5pm, today. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
