Draft Consolidated Rural Health Clinics Services Provider Manual
The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) will publish a consolidated Rural Health Clinics (RHC) Services Provider Manual Sept. 1, 2024. This updated manual will combine existing policies for covered services, utilization management and billing procedures for RHC providers that are currently published in the Physicians Services and RHC Behavioral Health Services Provider Manuals. The new consolidated manual will provide a cohesive, user-friendly reference for providers.
A draft of the new consolidated RHC Services Provider Manual is available for review here.
Providers are encouraged to submit feedback about the draft consolidated manual by emailing[email protected]by Aug. 13, 2024.
The consolidated manual will go into effect and be posted on the provider manual page of SCDHHS' website by Sept. 1, 2024.
