Election of MEA CDG as a member of the Board of Governors & Chair of the Audit Committee of IATA

Mr. Mohamad El Hout, Chairman - Director General of Middle East Airlines- Air Liban, has been reelected as Member of the Board of Governors. The decision was undertaken by the members of the IATA Board of Governors on June 2^nd during IATA AGM in Dubai. Mr. El Hout was also elected as Chair of the Audit Committee of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

IATA AGM is the world's largest gathering of airline leaders, where leaders come together to exchange ideas and shape the future of aviation.

The Audit Committee consists of five Board members and is responsible for reviewing the financial reporting process, the system of internal control and management of financial risks, the audit process and the process of monitoring compliance with laws and regulations.

The Chair Committee consists of a maximum of 10 Board members and oversees IATA's financial performance and governance and has overall responsibility for industry policy.
