  • Netflix delivers the ultimate entertainment experience by diversifying its offerings through collaboration with a Korean partner

(11-26-2024, Seoul) Starting today, members can access Netflix's diverse content offerings through a Naver Plus membership.

The collaboration between Netflix and Naver allows Naver Plus members to enjoy the same benefits as those with a Standard with ads plan at no extra cost. The Standard with ads plan includes a limited number of ads but offers 1080p (full HD) resolution, simultaneous streaming on two devices, unlimited mobile games, and content downloads. Members can upgrade to Netflix's higher-tiered plans at any time.

Through this partnership, Netflix makes it easier for Naver Plus members to access world-class entertainment, so they can enjoy quality films, series, games, and live events.

Netflix is bringing a mix of exciting new content across genres: The Trunk , a mystery romance series starring Seo Hyun-jin and Gong Yoo, releasing on November 29; Single's Inferno Season 4, the return of the chart-topping Korean dating reality series in 2025; and the megahit Squid Game, the most watched series ever on Netflix, with Season 2 premiering on December 26. Netflix is also expanding to mobile games and live sports, giving members a unique entertainment experience. The recent Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight made history as the most-streamed sporting event ever, peaking at 65 million concurrent streams.

In the third quarter of this year, Netflix drew in approximately 5 million new subscribers globally. The affordably priced Standard with ads plan remains popular, with 70 million monthly active users globally, and continues to see steady growth across all countries. Now, the ads plan accounts for over 50% of new Netflix sign-ups.
