Town of Davie Hosts Food Drive in Partnership With Harvest Drive

Accepting items Monday, October 21 through Monday, November 18, 2024

DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie is partnering with Harvest Drive, Inc. to host a food drive beginning October 21 through November 18, 2024. Donations will help provide local Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) students and families in need with a week's worth of groceries and perishables to complete a Thanksgiving meal.

Accepted Items:

  • Boxed Mashed Potatoes
  • Canned Sweet Potatoes
  • Canned Cranberry Sauce
  • Stuffing
  • Soup
  • Peanut Butter/Jelly
  • Applesauce/Canned Fruit
  • Cookies/Crackers
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Canned or Packet Gravy
  • Cornbread Muffin Mix
  • Cereal/Oatmeal
  • Powdered Milk
  • Pancake Mix/Syrup
  • Mac and Cheese
  • Canned Tuna/Chicken
  • Canned Pasta Sauce
  • Pasta/Rice

We ask that you only donate the items listed and make no substitutions. Please avoid donating glass jars.

Items can be dropped off Monday through Sunday during the following times at the locations listed below. The Town will only accept items until Monday, November 18, 2024.

Drop-off Locations:

Monday - Thursday

  • Town Clerk's Office (Building C): 8800 SW 36th Street | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Davie Police Department Lobby: 1230 South Nob Hill Road | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Davie Fire Rescue Department Main Lobby: 6901 Orange Drive | 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Friday

  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday - Sunday

  • Pine Island Fitness and Aquatic Center: 3800 SW 92nd Ave. | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Pine Island Multipurpose Center: 3801 S. Pine Island Road | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
