Bridge Repairs Planned at Night This Week, Continuously This Weekend on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA - ThePennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge repairs are planned at night this week and continuously this weekend on northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) in Philadelphia under a $100.6 million project to rehabilitate the Wayne Junction Viaduct over the SEPTA tracks and Nicetown neighborhood in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
