Event Wrap: LANOG 2.0

Makito and participants of the LANOG 2.0 Internet Routing Fundamentals Workshop

APNIC supported and participated in LANOG 2.0, held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR from 21 to 25 October 2024.

The event welcomed 105 participants to hear from speakers on topics including cybersecurity, smart cities, Internet resilience, BGP and much more. View the presentations for more information.

APNIC activities:

• Anna Mulingbayan hosted a booth, welcoming APNIC Members and conference attendees and answering their questions on APNIC membership and Internet number resource applications, the APNIC Fellowship Program and upcoming events.
• Makito Lay presented an 'IPv6 and RPKI Status Update' for Lao PDR.

• APNIC Community Trainer, Vasira Mysavath, presented on his 'Experience as a Community Trainer with APNIC Academy'.
