Avoid holiday season paycheck delays

The Boise State payroll team wants to remind employees about potential delays in delivering paper paychecks due to university closures, holiday-related bank and postal service interruptions. The university's winter break is Dec. 23 - Jan. 1.

Employees are encouraged to enroll in direct deposit to avoid delays. Follow the set up a direct deposit instructions before Thursday, Dec. 19 at 5 p.m. to avoid holiday delays.

Paper paychecks will be mailed to employees not enrolled in direct deposit. Those receiving paper paychecks should ensure their mailing address is up-to-date. Follow these step by step instructions to update a mailing address.

Mailing dates for paper checks:

• Dec. 19 (for paydate Dec. 20)
• Jan. 2 (for paydate Jan. 3)
