BANGOR, Maine - A candidate forum will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Council Chambers at City Hall where questions will be asked of candidates competing for seats on the City Council and School Committee.

The nonpartisan forum will be hosted by the League of Women Voters of the Bangor Area and is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. with School Committee candidates fielding questions from a moderator for an hour. Those running for the Council will then field questions from the moderator beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Residents are invited to attend the forum at City Hall, 262 Harlow St. The evening entrance to City Hall is at the rear of the building through the glass atrium toward the right side of the building.
