New Josephine County commissioner appointed, sworn in
Andreas Blech, a longtime Josephine County resident and area businessman, has been sworn in as a member of the Board of Josephine County Commissioners.
Blech was sworn in at 1 p.m. July 24 by Judge Robert S. Bain at the Josephine County Courthouse. He was appointed by the board to serve the remainder of the current Position 2 term vacated by Commissioner Dan DeYoung July 15.
"I appreciate and am honored by the confidence Josephine County has shown in me today," Blech said. "I look forward to serving the residents of the county over the next five months."
