Northwestern Pritzker Law alumni discuss the high-profile cases before SCOTUS and offer predictions on what the public can expect this fall

CHICAGO --- Following a term in which the U.S. Supreme Court made historic rulings regarding presidential immunity, abortion, government regulation of businesses and unhoused people, the Court is set to be back in session this Monday, Oct. 7.

With a contentious presidential election looming, and reviews of the Court remaining near historic lows, the public will be interested to see how the Court pivots - if at all - this session.

To delve deep into these and other topics, the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law is hosting a panel, "Carter G. Phillips (MA '75, JD '77) Supreme Court Forum," which will take place Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Thorne Auditorium on the Chicago campus.

The panel will examine the Supreme Court's 2023-24 term and preview what's to come in the 2024-25 term. The program will be presented in-person and virtually.

The event is free and open to media. Registration is required to attend in-person or virtually.
