President Meloni’s statement on Massimiliano Giansanti being elected COPA President

Congratulations to Massimiliano Giansanti on being elected President of the Committee of Professional Agricultural Organisations in the European Union (COPA). I wish him all the best in his role.
Massimiliano Giansanti's recognised experience and the cohesion shown by Italy's economic system and by all its agricultural organisations - starting with those entitled to vote, such as Coldiretti, Confagricoltura and CIA - played a decisive role in this choice.

This is a very important result, allowing Italy to return, after thirty years, to the helm of COPA, the organisation that brings together the industry's major players and represents tens of millions of European farmers. I would like to thank Minister of Agriculture Lollobrigida and the agricultural organisations for the great work they have done, making it possible to achieve this goal.
