Bruce Power's supplier partners donated $75,000 to Wounded Warriors Canada in support of ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders and their families.
As a national mental health service provider with a network of health care partners specializing in trauma-based training and counselling services, Wounded Warriors offers a broad scope of culturally specific mental health services to those who keep our country and communities safe.
"The dedication and commitment our supplier partners continue to demonstrate in support of this very important cause is incredible," said Eric Chassard, Bruce Power's President and Chief Executive Officer. "Our Supplier Sponsorship Program comes through for Wounded Warriors every year, enabling the brave men and women of our military, veterans, first responders, and their families to have access to the supports they need."
"We are very grateful to Bruce Power and its suppliers for their unwavering commitment and care," said Scott Maxwell, Chief Executive Officer of Wounded Warriors Canada. "Every year, in the face of increasing demands for compassionate and culturally specific counseling services for heroes and their families, Bruce Power and its suppliers remain steadfast in their support. The collective Bruce Power partnership continues to demonstrate what good looks like and we are grateful to be the recipients of such a strong and powerful community collaborative."
Bruce Power and its suppliers have donated nearly $1.3 million to Wounded Warriors Canada since 2012. Bruce Power was the first company in Wounded Warriors' history to eclipse $1 million in donations.
