Put your waste in the right place during?the Fall of Reuse!

The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office invites you to prevent waste from going to the landfill throughout October and November by joining upcoming events, including Drop-Off Day, Fix it Clinic, and Pumpkin Drop-Off.

Drop-Off Day

Bring those old aerosol cans, batteries, lights and more to the bi-annual drop-off event for proper disposal. The City is excited to partner with the Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center, Coconino County, the Coconino County Sheriff's Office, Ponderosa Medical Waste Services, Elevated Shredding, Restoration Soils, and Westech Recyclers for this event.

  • Date: Saturday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Fix-It Clinic

Support sustainable consumption and divert waste from the landfill by fixing items that would otherwise end up in the trash. The City's incredible team of volunteers can help fix almost anything, including electronics, jewelry, clothing, bicycles, and more!

  • Location: Joe C Montoya Community & Senior Center, 245 N Thorpe Road

Pumpkin Drop

Don't let those pumpkins go to waste! Please help prevent your carved pumpkins from going to the landfill by dropping them off to be composted by the City's partner Compost Crowd.

  • Date: Monday, Nov. 4, 3 - 6 p.m.
  • Location: Flagstaff Sustainability Office, 419 N. Mogollon
