Homebuyer Day Offers Key Information, Resources for Buying a Home

The City of Garden Grove, in collaboration with NeighborWorks Orange County, a community-led non-profit helping individuals reach their housing goals, will hold a Homebuyer Day event on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, located at 11300 Stanford Avenue in Garden Grove. The event is for anyone interested in learning more about down payment assistance, understanding the home buying process, credit readiness, financing, and more. Admission and parking are free.

A resource fair will include mortgage lenders, community housing organizations, and real estate agents providing a variety of resources and information related to becoming a home owner.

There will also be opportunities to learn more about the down-payment assistance programs offered by the Cities of Garden Grove, Anaheim, and Santa Ana. Free food and refreshments will be available and participants will have the opportunity to win free raffle prizes.
