AusNOG 2024

APNIC participated in AusNOG 2024 held in Sydney, Australia on 5 and 6 September 2024.

The two-day event welcomed 420 participants to hear from speakers on topics including AI Networking, cybersecurity, submarine cable systems and much more. View the agenda for more information.

APNIC activities:

• Geoff Huston presented on 'Measuring Starlink' explaining what it is and how it performs.

• Tom McGowan and Lu Zhang meet with several APNIC Members and conference delegates, answering their questions relating to IP addressing, APNIC membership and the referral program.
• The day before the event, APNIC staff participated in the IAASysters Workshop, organized by the Internet Association of Australia (IAA).
