Sutter Health to Open New Care Center in Livermore by Summer 2025

Sutter Health's Palo Alto Medical Foundation has begun renovation of 11,000-square-feet of space at 7683 Southfront Rd., Livermore - with plans to open a new care center at the site by summer 2025. The new care center will boast 16 exam rooms and accommodate eight providers offering internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, lab and imaging services. This new location will give residents access to the high-quality outpatient medical care that Sutter Health and PAMF are known for.

"Our expansion into Livermore marks a milestone in our mission to continuously improve healthcare access and care delivery," said Kevin Cook, president of Sutter Health's Greater Silicon Valley area. "Expanding our reach in the East Bay is part of our commitment to significantly grow our care system to address the health care needs that patients face."

The Livermore care center is part of Sutter's broader plan to add more than 25 new ambulatory care centers across its system in the next few years, underscoring its longstanding commitment to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare services across the region.

"We are excited about the opportunity to enhance healthcare access for residents of Livermore and the surrounding communities," said Kurt VandeVort, M.D., CEO of the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group, a medical group of almost 2,000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians caring for PAMF patients. "While we are new to the City of Livermore, we aren't new to the area. This care center builds on Sutter and PAMF's established reputations in Dublin, Fremont and Danville as we extend outpatient care services in the community."

The ground-floor Southfront Road care center will house imaging equipment to conduct X-rays and mammograms as well as lab equipment for common medical tests. The location will also have space for eight providers and their care teams. "We're focused on making healthcare more convenient for patients while continuing to be the best place for care teams to work," said Dr. Soham Jhaveri, medical director of business development for the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group. "This location is a great example of Sutter's intention to fulfill these commitments to our patients and our people."

The Livermore care center will grow Sutter Health's presence along the I-580 corridor in the East Bay. Nearby Sutter Health locations include Palo Alto Medical Foundation's Danville Center, Dublin Center and Fremont Center, as well as Sutter's Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.

Sutter recently began renovating the leased space and expects to welcome PAMF patients to the new care center in summer 2025.
